Before we begin, let’s take a brief dive into the world of Violet Evergarden. This animated series revolves around a post-war soldier, Violet Evergarden’s journey of understanding human emotions.

The series has disputed its once-popular belief that Violet Evergarden is a robot. It was a very hyped topic when the series first aired in 2018. Being assigned a new role of being an Auto Memory Doll (someone who writes letters for others anonymously), Violet Evergarden is adapting to this alternative reality.

Blatantly honest, she progressively portrays the value of speaking the truth and makes others realize it unintentionally. But she has to learn how to slant the truth as people fear it, hiding them using their lies. Weighed by her past, she goes on assignments to write letters that can connect people. Written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase, Kyoto Animation created the Violet Evergarden anime series.
