And it led to the Federation frequently falling. The Burn made the universe to become a dystopian country. And it is where everyone scavenged and struggled to stay alive.

In the prior year or so that she consumed without her crew. And Burnham gave her best to find as much knowledge as possible on the Burn. She went hunting for hints or clues. And clues that help her reveal the source of the massive eruption. One approach Michael is using is to collect black boxes from crashed Starfleet spaceships. Much like the black boxes of modern aeroplanes, these could expose vital clues. They aren’t simple to find, however, but she does reveal two in one year.
