It has been confirmed by Ricky Gervais, that his next two projects have received green lights from the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix. Ricky confirmed this is a recent stream that his two new projects have been greenlit by Netflix. He is the creator of the super hit comedy series, like Extras, and The Office, and talking about his recent works, it includes, Derek and After Life. Ricky already has a couple of projects on the go including the third season on After Life, the 2021 filming schedule of which is recently announced.
The first stand-up of Ricky was released on the streaming platform, Netflix in March last year, and was titled Humanity. Second stand-up special from Ricky is due to be released in the year 2021, and is titled, Supernature. He regularly streams on Periscope mostly at 6 PM BST, and the stream usually kicks off with a classic tune. Ricky sips a beer in front of his numerous awards that he won over the years and then proceed to interact with the stream.

When the much talented Gervais, was asked whether he would continue working with the streaming giant after Supernature, he said that the answer is yes. Netflix has already signed up his next stand-up after Supernature and added that the streaming giant has already commissioned whatever his next series is.
Ricky Gervais revealed a little later that he has two different ideas for what the next series will be, but he has yet to officially decide on which one he has to pick. He clearly said that both of the ideas are totally different to each other. Well, this is not something that should come up as a big surprise that Netflix has an intention to continuing work with Ricky. Last year, he signed a first-look deal with Netflix, and he joined the myriad of other creators who have various deals with the streaming service, including first-look and output deals.
One of the creations of Ricky that has yet to make it to the screens in TV in any format or movie is Flanimals. It was a book that was released by Gervais back in the year 2004, and was followed by the sequel entry in the year 2005. Well, it is certainly a piece of good news for the fans of Ricky who were looking forward to his next titles on Netflix.
