According to a report from Newsweek, they stopped receiving money from the royal family after snagging a major deal with Netflix.
This news caught fire when the couple said that they would be working to become financially independent, when they decided to step away from all of their royal duties and move out of England in the month of January. Their deal with the streaming giant, Netflix, is allowing them to produce various films, documentaries, and scripted shows, along with the programs for children. It is estimated that the deal is worth around $50 million and $100 million.
