Aldama started working as a coach at Navarro in the year 1995, and since the beginning of her reign at Navarro, she has brought 14 National Cheer Association Junior College Division National Championship and five Grand National Titles in competition at Daytona Beach, Florida home. The Navarro college holds the record for the highest score in the history at NCA College Nationals. Monica Aldama was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame of the Navarro College in the year 2019.

She is happily married to Chris Aldama, and she also has two kids named, Austin and Ally.
