It has been officially reported that Marie Osmond has made her exit from the show, The Talk, just after the completion of one season. This means that she won’t be hosting the show for the second season. Maybe the reason behind this that they were a little bit too rock and roll and she was just a little bit too country.
She was a showbiz veteran and also was a frequent guest host on the Emmy Award-Winning CBS daytime chatfest even before she officially filled the seat vacated by the creator of The Talk, Sara Gilbert, following the tenth season of the series last year.
Marie Osmond is currently pursuing other opportunities within the ViacomCBS media conglomerate according to some of the reports that have been published. Well, she is not the only one who is departing from the show, John Redmann is also departing after ten years as the showrunner and executive producers of the show.

The remaining panellists are Carrie Ann Inaba, Eve, Sheryl Underwood, and Sharon Osbourne, the original co-host of the show. Osmond wrote in an Instagram post that one of the highlights of her year at The Talk was working with her dear friend John Redmann, the former executive producer and showrunner of the show, and she is excited to continue their working relationship on several projects they are developing.
She added that she and her husband have also just dropped their last two kids off at college, they looked at each other and laughed, and remembered that they had not been this alone since the year 1982. The current Nutrisystem diet plan spokesperson and the 60-year-old former teen idol continued that at this stage of her life, she is looking forward to spending more time with her husband and visiting all the kids and grandkids.
CBS said in a statement that she is a consummate professional, and they thank her for sharing her insights, personal experiences, and her incredible talents with the audience. The added that they would be missing her kindness, her humour, and ofcourse, her good nature. They also wished her much success in her future endeavours.
There are expectations that the show is going to start its new season with the current hosts until a new co-host is named for the show.
