In a recent interview with Total Filmo astro Henry Cavill revealed why he returned as Sherlock Holmes in the long-awaited sequel ‘Enola Holmes 2’ (via GamesRadar+).
Cavill commented on the professionalism and fantastic energy of Millie Bobby Brownwho plays the titular character, but also said he had a desire to “set things right”.
“It’s important to get things right. It’s important to ensure that the tone of things doesn’t get lost in the hype for franchises and universes. It’s always so hard to say where things are going and what’s going to happen. I have experience with franchises going places and being quiet, and other franchises coming up and becoming exciting. It’s all about making decisions and what else comes with that. I’m just hired work”he said.
Bearing in mind that the film opens in Netflix em november 4th.

Millie Bobby Brown returns as Enola Holmes.
Helena Bonham Carter will reprise her role as Eudoria Holmes, mother of the titular character. The rest of the cast includes Sweet Susan, David Thewlis, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Abbie Hern, Hannah Dodd, Gabriel Tierney e Serrana Su-Ling Bliss.
Harry Bradbeer back to the direction and Jack Thornewho wrote the first, will script the sequel.
The film is based on Nancy Springer’s book series, ‘The Enola Holmes Mysteries‘, which consists of six books. The first and fifth books in the series were nominated for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010, respectively.
It is estimated that the first film was watched by 76 million viewers in the first 28 days.
Acclaimed among critics, ‘Enola Holmes‘ garnered a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has already become one of the most-watched productions of the week on Netflix.
